Dr. Junior Moshier Memorial
Dr. Junior Moshier (he/him)
Dr. Junior Moshier, a celebrated Pet Therapist, died April 14, 2025, due to complications from a malignant tumor. He was 14 (83). Born in Baltimore, MD in June of 2011.
Dr. Junior was a Graduate of Dauphin Dog Training. His initial objective in life was focused on changing narrow minds and bias about Pit Bulls. He completed his first internship at Genesis House where his focus was on co-occurring disorders and the dignity and worth of people leaving the criminal justice system. After completing his internship there, he took the position of Director of Trash Can Analysis and Employee Happiness.
He completed his second internship at Grief Relief, LLC where his focus was on helping others through traumatic grief through assisting them in EMDR. Following this internship he took a position at Moshier, LLC. He was the Clinical Director and served as the Primary Pet Therapist. His side hustle remained steadfast, Trash Can and Desk Analysis. There is no doubt that his career and life were guided by providing loving service to others.
His life has made a difference for good in the lives of others. When he wasn’t working, he volunteered for Pitties Love Peace, training any dog that his mom and dad brought home. He kindly showed them the way we do things and welcomed anyone into his home. He was 100% dedicated and loyal to everyone he loved
Dr. Junior Moshier was very outgoing and cheerful, yet he had to consistently work hard at his anxiety. He often needed reassurance that trying new things was ok. He was able to experience freedom from anxiety when he was hiking in the mountains of PA and WV. He wanted nothing more than all people to get the mental health care they need. He would love nothing more than for folks to donate to Healing Appalachia, https://healingappalachia-bloom.kindful.com/.
In his free time he loved to EAT, hike, play tuggy, spoon snuggle, go for rides in the car, eat ice cream or any kind of veggie, sniff the cats butt, and play chase.
