Elsie (she/her)
Elsie is a Pet Therapist. She studied Animal Assisted Therapy (AST) under Dr. Junior Moshier and completed her education through PlayfulPups in Elizabethtown, PA. AST uses small and large animals to help individuals and groups deal with mental, emotional, and physical issues.
Elsie started out in AST by being sponsored by Pitties, Love, Peace, a rescue dedicated to rescuing, education, and advocacy of pit bulls and bully breeds. After a few weeks of working with Dr. Junior Moshier she decided she wanted to be a AST full-time. Dr. Junior Moshier adopted Elsie and helped her with her training until the day he died.
Elsie believes humans are experts on their story and STRONGLY believes all humans need assistance in the emotional response of the event or events of the past or present. She believes through being kind and loving to others she can help heal wounded parts.
